The Big Bike Revival started on 23rd May and runs to 7th June. It’s designed to help you to get an unloved bike back into use, learn how to look after it yourself, and rediscover how much fun cycling can be.
In Ipswich, you can take your bike along to the newly refurbished Stable Block in Holywells Park, near to Cliff Lane, for bike health checks, bike maintenance & safety tips, puncture repair workshops, and also donated unwanted bikes for charity. Events take place from 09:15 to 15:45. If you have any questions, you can phone (01473) 723888. There are also great refreshments available in the café.
The Bike Revival is a great way to keep the whole family entertained during the school holidays.
The Big Bike Revival is a project organised by the CTC, the national cycling charity, which aims to inspire, encourage and help people of all ages and backgrounds to cycle safely, easily and happily. With over 130 years’ experience, CTC caters for everyone from keen cyclists to those who just want to find out more about cycling. The charity promotes all forms of cycling, and its 70,000-strong network works in the interests of current and would-be riders across the country.
