Specialist metal storage manufacturer Trimetals has been recognised in this year’s Queen’s Awards for its impressive export achievements.
Sales of Trimetals’ bicycle store have been growing across the world helping the company win this prestigious Queen’s Award for International Trade.
The combination of security, functionality and durability offered by its “Protect a CycleTM” storage unit has proved key to this success. The generous dimensions allow up to three adult bikes to be stored together and the clever patented design, which features a spring assisted opening action, allows complete and easy access.
It is the only cycle store which has been tested and certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board and awarded the LPS1175 Security Rating 1 and in addition has achieved the Police SBD mark (Secure By Design) “Preferred Police Specification.”
A professional version of this product is also available. It is larger and offers an even higher level of security so is ideal for exposed locations or commercial use.
Speaking about the accolade, Trimetals Managing Director Garry Smith said: “British cyclists have appreciated the security, functionality and reliability of our cycle stores for some time. It’s great to see that the word is spreading throughout the world so thanks to anyone who has ‘pedalled’ the benefits to their international cycling enthusiast friends.”
Protect a Cycle stores are available online.
