This has to be one of the most brief press releases we have received here:
Inspiration, style, performance. In other words: Dama Bianca, Bianchi’s woman-dedicated bicycle range projected to satisfy the various levels of performance required by the female public. Sizes and components are designed for a perfect adaptation to women anatomy’s demands, following the Endurance racing philosophy, with new graphics and colour combinations.
Enjoy Bianchi’s new video dedicated to the Infinito CV Dama Bianca featuring the Countervail® vibration cancelling technology.
Dama Bianca models:
- Infinito CV
- Impulso Disc
- Via Nirone 7
That doesn’t tell you a great deal about these new models of bike from this famous manufacturer, or what the differences are between them.
From the website we found that the Infinito CV has the brief sub-title Shimano Ultegra 11sp Compact, and the Intenso is sub-titled either Shimano Ultegra Di2 11sp Compact or Shimano 105 11sp Compact, and Campagnolo Veloce 10sp Compact. Strangely, there’s no mention of the “Intrepida” on the page showing the Dama Bianca range. The Impulso has Shimano 105 11sp Compact twice, and the Via Nirone 7 is either Shimano Tiagra 10sp Compact or Shimano Sora 9sp Compact.
Going into a more in depth comparison of the Via Nirone 7 models, they have the same aluminium 7000 frame material and frame sizes available, the same Alu Carbon-Kevlar forks, the same headset. The shifters and front and rear derailleurs are different, as can be guessed by the “sub-title”. The brakes are the same Reparto Corse RC-471, the rear hubs are the same Formula RB-556, and the front hubs are the same Formula RB-72. The list goes on: same Vittoria Zafiro Slick 700×25 tyres, same stem, handlebar, handlebar tape, seatpost, San Marco Era Startup Glamour saddle, and even the same Celeste waterbottle and bottle cage. But the available colours are different. Is it really worth making what is virtually an identical bike into two models?
Bianchi know their stuff, as a huge brand and team sponsor. Wonder what their thinking is?
This comment helped:
Dama Bianca reaches itstop with the Infinito CV, bike where patented viscoelastic material Countervail® is embedded within the unique carbon layup and immediately cancels vibration reducing muscle fatigue and increasing energy savings in distance rides. Range moves to Intenso and Intrepida, carbon fiber frames, and to aluminium offer composed of Impulso, caliper or disc brake, and Via Nirone, 7.
