Granfondo Fausto Coppi 2020 Registration Underway

More than 1000 cyclists have already registered for the 33rd edition of the Granfondo Fausto Coppi 2020, the Cuneo based international marathon, where the number of entrants is limited to 2800 athletes. At the end of December, the fee of € 45 expires and will be increased to 50 euro.

Just three months after the opening of registrations for the 33rd edition, the International Granfondo La Fausto Coppi Officine Mattio, which will start from Cuneo on June 28th, 2020 has already reached 1000 athletes.

This figure has been reached in an extraordinarily short time which indicates that the maximum number of participants of 2800 will be reached quite soon. The event for some years has put a limit on the number of registrations and all the cyclists who do not fall within this quota will be put on the waiting list.

To date, cyclists from 25 countries have confirmed their participation for the Granfondo Fausto Coppi 2020 edition, led by Holland and France, followed by a large group coming from Northern Europe.

Please note that until December 31st, 2019 it will be possible to register for the Granfondo at the fee of € 45. From 1 January 2020 the registration fee increases to € 50.

Entries for the 33rd International Granfondo Fausto Coppi 2020 are only possible by accessing the portal.

Also, confirmed for 2020 are the two challenging circuits: the Granfondo of 177 km and 4125 m ascent and the Mediofondo of 111 km with 2500 m ascent. The Mountain Grand Prix of both circuits is set on the majestic Colle Fauniera, with its 22.3 km climb to reach the 2481 m of the summit.

The solidarity grid has been confirmed as well. 60 more seats available out of 100, for € 100 each: this will allow cyclists to start in the first row and the proceeds will be donated to the project “Save the mountain roads”.
