The Brailsford Way

This sounds like it should be a training manual or “how-to” book, after the phenomenal successes that Sir Dave Brailsford has had in cycling, but it’s actually a cycling route in Snowdonia, and is inspired by the roads he used to cycle in his youth.

“There’s no better cycling or a more stunning part of the world than Snowdonia” – Sir Dave Brailsford.

There are two routes of 50 miles and 70 miles through some of Wales’ most spectacular scenery, as you can see from the photograph and from the map.

The official launch was held a month ago on the 12th June on the Maes in Caernarfon, and we only learned about it a few days beforehand and there wasn’t time to go.

But it looks like some great cycling with stunning scenery, whether you pick the 50 mile or 70 mile route.

Visit Snowdonia have also released a YouTube video, which certainly makes the ride look tempting.
